So the week started well exercise wise. I did average just over a mile a day but not by much. I even got an Active 10 one day. By the end of the week I was struggling though and the weekend saw me feeling very bleurgh. I did not go to yoga and I did not do any of the extra bits and pieces I wanted to do.
Food wise, it was not great. At the beginning of the week, my husband had a bug and we missed our shopping window and I didn't plan for the following week. I need that plan to persuade myself to cook healthily from scratch. Without it, things slide and after several weeks of not losing anything and feeling bleurgh, they really did slide. We ate some of my bulk cooking from the freezer but we also had chips a couple of times. We were just generally not on it.
And then there was the chocolate.... I had several large bars. Not my normal habit these days. Feeling bleurgh encourages chocolate eating.
We had a lot on at the weekend and we knew it was coming. Just life stuff. It didn't help.
So although I got on it with my breakfasts at the beginning of the week, it was a drop in the ocean. By the weekend, I was not eating good breakfasts either.
Some weeks are just tough. You don't give up, you keep going and at some point, the tide shifts
